Intro
On the foundations of Dóczi Manor of the 16th century, the Károlyi earls built a multi-storey castle with side buildings in the 1720’s. Their conditions had deteriorated by the middle of the 18th century. Csongrád County bought the building and built it into an imposing Baroque county house by a major transformation in years 1768-73, which is still there today.
