Intro
This protected area (4.556 ha) on the outer reaches of Szentes-Fábiánsebestyén consists of two different kinds of landscape. The northern part has managed to retain its former flood plain character, and amongst the freshwater marshes you can find dried out water meadows and yarrow pastures. The southern part is saline, with extensive alkaline marshes and meadows.
