Intro
In Csongrád County, the history of birdwatching and bird protection companies dates back more than half a century. The Csongrád County Group of the Scientific Society of Science founded in 1962, as part of its Biological Section, the Bird and Nature Conservation Team, led by Dr. Peter Beretzk (1894 - 1973). With this, Szeged became one of the most important rural centers of ornithological research.
