Farm-school

Intro

1911.  Felső-Pusztaszer (today Pusztaszer) belonging to the town of Kecskemét was built on the border of Árpádhalom. According to the recollections, the teacher's apartment was originally a barn that was made habitable when building the classroom. Wall made of loam, based on nearby cut stone, meadow limestone. He topped the top with shingles. A single classroom was built according to the 1897 elementary school decree and type plan: length 9.6 m, width 6 m. The wood-floored wooden-beamed ceiling room features typical equipment for the first third of this century: heavy wooden benches, old teaching aids, illustrative wall pictures and maps. In the former teaching home, the staff of the Ferenc Móra Museum organized a school history exhibition of outstanding cultural history.  Prior to the school, the residents and residents of the area set a cross and a bell. In 1910 & # 8211; 30s, the church services of the inhabitants living exclusively on the farm were first performed by the Roman Catholic parish of Channyelek and later by Kistelek. The church was not built after the independent village of Upper Pusztaszer (1934), so the pastor of Kistelek held a mass at the Árpádhalm school in a few weeks. Farmer in the farm organized economic and health education lectures in winter.  1981 & # 8211; 82 moved to the memorial park.
