Intro
The area of 1306 hectares lying north to the settlement of Eperjes, in the borderland of Csongrád and Békés plain, which used to be part of the huge marshy puszta formed by Tisza, Hármas-Körös and several brooks. Its biological diversity and rich avifauna justifies its being under protection.
