Intro
The values of the floodplain of River Hármas-Körös on 623 hectares are gallery and fringing forests of soft and hard wood preserved almost in their natural conditions, damp fields, pastures, dead channels and stagnant waters, their diversified and characteristic niches, the preserved indigenous animal species, and material remains related to water conservancy set up after the river channelings and to traditional peasant culture.
