1930/32. János Szathmáry   In the 1920s - on the shore of the then 3 km long Kakashi-Sikso - holiday cottages and villas, and even pensions. Dr. Antal Genersich, chief medical officer of the hospital, recognized the healing effects confirmed later by chemical analysis and prac- tice, and placed the obese patients in Erzsébet Hospital in Vásárhely in the already leased properties. His action, which began in 1927, persuaded the Ministry of Social Welfare, which provided significant support for the establishment of the Cossack sanatorium. At one of the departments of the Erzsébet Hospital in Hódmezővásárhely, 64 patients were treated with bone-to-tb and, according to the term, surgical tuberculosis patients. With the decline in TB, the Institute's profile has gradually changed and is now treating locomotor patients and performing rehabilitation tasks. Accordingly, as a result of the refurbishment in 1991/92, there are currently 110 beds and this time a 40 m3 bathing pool was built.
