Reök-palace

Intro

Art nouveau, 1906-07. Magyar Ede Built by the hydraulic engineer, Iván Reök - Mihály Munkácsy’s nephew. The influence of Belgian and Catalane Art Nouveau is predominant on its waving front with flower ornaments. The tilted iron leaf and lily ornaments of the balconies and the staircase were made by Pál Fekete, an art smith of Szeged. Since its reconstruction finished in 2007, it has been operating as Regional All Arts Centre.
