THE SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH OF THE ENTRY OF THE MOTHER OF GOD INTO THE TEMPLE IN ORLOVAT

The Old Temple of the Entry of the Mother of God into the Temple was built in the time of the Karlovci Metropolitan Jovan Djordjevic in 1770. Vikentije Jovanović, Bishop of Temišvar, sanctified the temple in 1772. The iconostasis in the temple was painted by Dimitrije Popović from Veliki Bečkerek.
