Intro
The largest thermal lake in Central Europe, which has become a significant bird bird habitat: it is of great importance for the migration and nesting of highly protected bird species. The thermal lake of Szentes, which is a unique bird reserve, with its 176 valuable bird species, belongs to the area of the Cserebökény, a special bird protection area within the Natura 2000 network.
