Romantic - neo-Gotic, 1857. Gerster Károly An outstanding Hungarian example of Romantic architecture; its name comes from the blackened colour of its painting. Throughout its existence, the house had an important part in Szeged's political and literature life. Today it hosts a permanent exhibition on sociology and other temporary expos.
