Intro
The construction of the church began in 1847 and was completed in 1858 and exhibits the stylistic characteristics of Classiism. It is basically a one-nave building of simple architecture and no ornamentation. The altar painting on the main altar "St. George" is the work of Bertalan Sekelj (oil on canvas). On the side altar there is the painting "St. Anne teaching the Virgin” – the work of Tan Mor from 1866, (oil on canvas).
