When you leave Bečej and set out for Novi Bečej a hundred meters before turning for Kumane on the right you will see the sign board of Sokolac agriculture holding. The castle was built by Lazar Dunđerski in the last decades of the 19th century. The castle was given as dowry to Emilija Ivanović, the daughter of Lazar Dunđerski. The entire estate, called the Big Farm, had 3997 acres. Today, the castle with the park is in a rather bad condition, although it is part of a private property. It is good that the castle has a guard because it contains many original objects from the time when the property was managed by Dunđerski. The castle was declared a cultural monument in 2001. The castle is privately owned and it is possible to visit it with prior announcement!
