THE BUILDING OF THE OLD MUNICIPALITY VRANJEVO – NOVI BEČEJ

Intro

The building of the old municipality of Vranjevo was erected in 1824 in the village variant of Empire style, as a ground-level corner building, with two equal symmetrical wings. The building is a fine example of a well-preserved building, from the beginning of the XIX century. It was erected as an administrative building and for a long time it served this purpose. On one of the wings, as the main accent of the building, there is a shallow entrance porch with two pillars supporting an architrave, semicircular profiled tympanum with the year of construction MDCCCXXIIII (1824) and the Slovenian-Serbian language inscription.

The decision of the Provincial Secretariat for the Protection of Cultural Monuments has put the building of the old Vranjevo municipality under protection.
