Calvinist Old Church

Intro

One of the oldest preserved buildings in Hódmezővásárhely, the almost 300-year-old Calvinist old church, where the New Széchenyi Plan provides visitor-friendly development. The refurbishment, wich has become up-to-date, comes from the European union subsidy of 231 million Ft, co-financed by European Regional Development Fund. Thanks to the renovations, the whatch tower will be able to visit, for example, one of Hungary's first wrought iron watch and the so-called Rákóczi Bell. Furthermore, the tower has a good view of the city center ant the city border. City and church history exhibition halls with infrmation desks will be created in the church hall. The renewable old church will open it's gates to the public in the attum of 2012.
