Chandlery and Bakery

Intro

Reconstruction of the house and workshop of Dávid Fodor Bakery Master. It was originally a traditional farmhouse that was bought by a Jewish family in the 1910s and converted the Great House (street room) into a supermarket. Dávid Fodor bought the house with a bakery in 1939.  The cabinets, shelves, countertops of feeders, felgyő, Csongrád stores, the bakery's furnishings and tools were purchased by two bakers from Szeged and the donation of the Szeged Bakery Company. The furnishings of the apartment document the small civic house culture typical of the village retailers of the 1940s.
