Intro
The small, stone church and it's cemetry were captures and burnt down by the Tatars in 1241. Later Kun's settled here and buried around the reconstracted church, first as a pagan and then as a Christian. In the 16th century the church fell victim to turkish destructin, but it's ruins still stod and the end of the 18th century. The inhabitants of the vilige and the staff of Móra Ferenc Museum in Szeged discovered and ebuilt the walls of the ruins in 1975.
