Intro
The Temple of St. Father Nikolai was erected in 1835, and he was killed, like many others in the 1848/49 uprising. The temple was built in the Baroque style of a semicircular altar apse, and the iconostasis is unique in our region. It is made of polished multicolored artificial stone according to the design of Svetozar Ivačković in 1884, in the style of Biedermeier, and the icons are the works of several masters.
