Greek Palace

Intro

Art Nouveau, 1909. Miksa Müller The Greek Ortodox Church, built a tenement building on the ground floor, comprising 15 retail outlets, 3 ground-floor and 5-floor apartments. It was used until the nationalization of the 1950s, when the police received it and made adjustments to the building in accordance with its goals. Between 1970 and 73, commercial premises were rebuilt on the ground floor and a total of 10 apartments on the first floor. The building is well suited to both the mass and architectural solutions of the neighboring bank building. Its Art Nouveau character is primarily the stylized plant decoration on the windowsill, as well as the ornament of the roof.
