Hagymaház (Onion-house) Cultural and Cultural Center

Intro

The modernist-style predecessor of the Onion House today, which was built by the urban onion association in 1936, housed a commodity and association premises. Based on the plans of Imre Makovecz, the new Hagymaház Makó City cultural center, including a theater, café and clubs, was built in 1998, and it's one of the  well-known symbols of the settlement. Outside, the spirit of the Reformed Church of Makó lives again with its white walls, its tower, the four bastions of its former fence.
On the 3,000 seat outdoor stage, the Makó Operetta Festival attracting many and the performances of Makó Music are held in the summer.
