Intro
Kaštel castle is located in the village of Ečka, close to the city of Zrenjanin. It was built by the noble family Lazar (Augustin Lazar from Ečka) in the second decade of the 19th century. The castle is a part of the complex of the former noble estate where the following objects are located: a Catholic church, an old stables and a water tower on the canal.
