ROĐA’S WIDMILL

Intro

Rođa’s windmill is one of the seven windmills which were located in Čurug. It was made in Hungary in 1843, where it was bought by a local man from Čurug. It was transported by a raft along the river Tisa to Čurug. It often changed owners, so that in 1913 she became the property of the Stojšin family. Today the windmill does not have wings, but the mechanism and millstones are preserved.
