Intro
The building was built in 1886 according to plans of the city engineer Ferenc Pelcl at the site of a small inn. The hotel was called Roža, after the owner Franjo Roža, and in 1921 the hotel was taken over by the Jew David Kon and named it Vojvodina Grand Hotel.
