In the vicinity of the Windmill of Késmárki we could see strange constructions in ten farms for not that long . These were the windmills. The small wooden constructions were rotatable like the big windmills, and spread after the First World War in a narrowercircle of the community. The idea was given by the experiences of the First World War in Ukraine. There were similar structures in the Martian peasants there. The iron grinder was placed in the wooden constructions and brought into motion with four sails. corn, barley was ground to animal feed.
With the generalization of producer cooperatives, the need for wire shredders was scarce, and so most of them were demolished. A copy is displayed in the sculpture of the National Park of Ópusztaszer.
