Intro
The building where Žarko Zrenjanin City National Library is located was built in 1882 as an integral part of the downtown area. The purpose of the building itself changed from private house of the Bauer family, offices of the Torontal daily, Šoljom coffee shop, to Privredna Bank headquarters. In 1967, the City’ National Library got the location where it is today.
