Intro
Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Archangel Michael and Gabriel in Novi Kneževac, was built in 1755, as it is written on the front of the church and carries the stylistic features of the Baroque. It was erected at a place where there used to be a church of material that was not solid. Inside, there is iconostasis with the correct and symmetrical division of the iconic frames, decorated with floral motifs. Monumental compositions of main holidays, on ceiling of the main part of the church and narthex, done in drawing, with the plasticity of the figures, and in the color of accentuated pale pink, light ocher and dark blue indicate the characteristics of Aleksić's work.
