Intro
It was built in 1903–1904 based on the plans of Bela Lajta (Leitersdorfer). The barracks is a masterpiece, a mixture of folk building and Hungarian Secession, with detailed and fine making of decorative elements making it one of the most characteristic objects in the Secession style.
